College has its fair share of challenges, but a few clever tricks and tips can make a big difference.

Each week, a fellow student will share a life hack that has helped them navigate campus life, whether saving money, staying organized, or making dorm living a little easier. This week, Austin Gutierrez, a sophomore Exercise Science major, shares his go-to cheap meal and how he makes college more enjoyable.

“Getting coupons in the mail is super helpful when trying to eat on a budget, and Subway has a deal where you can get two footlongs for $12.99,” said Gutierrez.

With grocery prices still rising, it is helpful for students to have access to affordable meals and foods so they don’t have to worry about cooking.

“I believe getting outside and staying active has really helped me to enjoy college more; taking advantage of the RAC and the beautiful campus helps me to de-stress after tough classes,” said Gutierrez.

College is tough enough; hacks make it easier. Tune in next week for more tips!
