STATESBORO- From tucked-away nerd shops and speakeasies to seasonal markets and restaurants, Statesboro has a couple of hidden gems for students to explore while they attend the university.


Galactic Comics - A comics and games shop in downtown Statesboro that supplies all your needs for friendly fun and pop culture collecting


Gators and Gypsies - A modern-day speakeasy right next door to Galactic Comics that has live music, pool, and lounges to hang around and enjoy the weekly events held there


Azul Tex-Mex Express - A small center on the way to Downtown Statesboro that hosts live music and great Tex-Mex food; play cornhole while eating delicious Birria Fries, and more.


Eagle Creek Brewing Company - A local brewery on the edge of downtown that hosts many events throughout the week, from trivia nights to philosophy discussions from university students and professors


Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market - A seasonal farmer’s market held from April to November every Saturday morning, Local farmers and business owners sell handmade crafts, food, and more.


While Statesboro isn’t a major city, there are plenty of things to do around it as it grows every year; find a weekend or free time to explore some of Statesboro’s Hidden Gems.
