STATESBORO – Nothing fuels a morning or a late-night study session quite like the perfect cup of coffee. But with so many local coffee shops surrounding Georgia Southern, where should you go for the best coffee?
We sipped our way through Statesboro's most beloved coffee spots. Some are hidden gems, while others are cult favorites, but we were able to bring you the ultimate ranking. Whether you're an espresso connoisseur, a latte lover, or just looking for a new study spot, this list has your next coffee fix covered.
Next up, Two Story Books and Coffeehouse
Quality: The drinks here lean more creative than classic. We tried a few different options—some impressed us, like the white chocolate and strawberry iced coffee with cold foam, but others didn't quite hit the mark. While the flavors are fun, a few drinks came out a little watered down. Still, if you're into unique combos, it's worth exploring. We scored it with 3/5 coffee beans.
Atmosphere: Two Story is the coziest spot we've visited so far. Each room has its own vibe, with books lining the walls and comfy nooks to settle into. Whether reading, studying, or catching up with a friend, there's a space for you. It feels more like hanging out in a friend's house than a coffee shop—in the best way. We scored it with 5/5 coffee beans.
Price: Drinks and food here are priced fairly, with most items under $10. You're getting good value for a specialty drink and a sweet treat. We scored it with 4/5 coffee beans.
Location: It's tucked away just off Main Street, a little further from campus than some other spots. Parking can be challenging, especially during busier hours, but the charm makes it worth it once you're inside. We scored it with 3/5 coffee beans.
Customer Service: The staff is warm, welcoming, and always ready with a recommendation. From the second you walk in, they make you feel like a regular. Service is quick and super friendly. We scored it with 5/5 coffee beans.
Overall Thoughts: Two Story Books and Coffeehouse brings something different to the table. It's a peaceful place to unwind, study, or get lost in a good book. While the coffee wasn't perfect across the board, the atmosphere and service were more than enough to make it.
Overall Score: 4/5 coffee beans.
Stay tuned as we continue our journey through Statesboro's coffee scene!
